Bethan Elizabeth: Smashbox Liquid Lipsticks

These Smashbox liquid lipsticks are up there alongside Dose of Colors for my favourites. I just love everything about them plus they are cruelty free. So far I only have two colours but I will definitely be adding more to my collection. I just need to decide which shade to get next. Let me know if you have any recommendations

So the shades I have are

Girl Gang

This was the first shade I purchased and was the one that made me fall head over heels in love. The formula, the colour, and the application are just gorgeous. I am in love with the wands. The slightly pointed shape of the applicator makes it so easy to apply. You can get a super smooth line without lipliner and the flexible wand makes filling in the lip super smooth. I tend to use a lip liner for this shade because as it is darker it can apply slightly patchy but no where near as bad as some other brands. The staying power is incredible. It is a slightly thicker nearly mousse like texture which I adore as I find it less drying than some of the wetter formulas.

Bawse

I am a huge red lip fan and Bawse is in my top 3 along with DOC Kiss of Fire and Stila Beso. The colour payoff of this is incredible with it opaque in one swipe. The lasting power is amazing. I wore this out for lunch with my family. I topped up the centre of my bottom lip after eating a sandwich and cake. I then had training 2 and a half hours later and I couldn't get it off as I only had a tissue. I had an extremely hot and sweaty 2 hour training session and it was still perfect when I finished. Not a single smudge. I looked fierce that session haha.

I have no idea why my arm looks like Caspers arm in this picture, I don't think I'm that pale. However, the swatch colours are spot on. These are one swipe swatches. As you can see Girl Gang is a bit patchy but nothing too obvious and can be evened out. Bawse is just gorgeous.

At £19 they are on the pricier side but oh my god you need at least one.
