First Cleanse Oil - £14.50 - If you saw my 2017 beauty faves post then you'll know I am looking for a cruelty free alternative for the Clinique take the day off balm. I think I may have found it. To start with I wasn't sure about this cleansing oil. It has quite a strong smell which reminds me of Aldi's version of southern comfort which I definitely threw up a few times at uni. Not the greatest scent to rub on your face. I also don't normally reach for cleansing oils. However, now that I am used to it I adore it. It takes off my makeup and then melts away with water just like the clinique balm. When a little water is added, it turns in to a milky cleanser for quick and easy removal. It sometimes requires two goes to get all my eyeliner off but I tend to use micellar water first anyway which eliminates that problem. I have also definitely got this in my eye a few times because I am a child and I can safely say it doesn't sting or irritate. It also doesn't dry my skin out and leaves it feeling soft and clean. Definitely recommend.
Azulene Cleansing Milk - £14.50 - Out of all the products I purchased this is the one I'm least sure on. First of all it is my absolute favourite colour bottle. I absolutely adore the turquoise glass. Secondly I love that the cleanser is also blue. It's the little things. My issue with this is my breakouts tended to be worse when I used this but I'm not sure if that's because I was eating badly when I tried it. Now I'm a bit scared to try it because my skin looks amazing at the moment. I can say though that this leaves my skin feeling so moisturised.
Revitalising Ginseng Toner with Glycolic Acid 5% - £12.40 - I had been using the Pixi Glow tonic and loving it but I also love this one. It feels so refreshing and doesn't dry my skin out at all. Ginseng is a natural supplier of oxygen to the skin cells whilst Glycolic Acid and Ammonium Glycolate (5%) work to help the skin loosen the excess accumulation of dead skin cells, which cause the skin to appear rough, dull and aged.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum - £16.60 - When I first tried this I used waay too much of it. A little bit really goes a long way. It feels like extra hydrating water when you put it on. It's quite a thin texture with a hint of gloop haha so scientific or in their words it provides lightweight but intense hydration. It honestly feels so cooling and moisturising. Due to its oil-free texture it isn't rich like most anti-ageing products, but acts like a super sponge and retains water within the skin, locking in the moisture that your skin usually looses. With regular use the skins moisture balance is restored which in turn helps to plump out the skin making the appearance of fine lines less visible, circulation is improved therefore encouraging skin cell development which in turn reduces dry patches, leaving the skin looking smoother, softer and more radiant. I've been using it for about 2 months now and I can safely say my skin definitely feels plumper and smoother. It has definitely made a difference. The only thing I don't like about this is the packaging. It looks so sad next to all the gorgeous glass bottles.
Collagen Moisturising Cream - £10.79 - So I think this is probably the fanciest looking moisturiser I have ever owned. The Collagen Moistursing Cream contains Hydrolysed Marine Collagen to help improve cell connections and improve skin tone/firmness as well as skin loving oils to keep skin hydrated and looking its very best. It sinks in really quickly and doesn't leave your face feeling greasy. I tend to just use this as a night cream but I have tried it in the morning before my makeup and it provides a great base.
Safe to say I am in love with the Bravura London Skincare. I absolutely adore the packaging. The glass bottles make it feel super luxe and high-end but the price is pretty reasonable. It has definitely cleared up my skin. I'm still suffering with dryness when I apply foundation but my skin doesn't feel as dehydrated as it was.
