I'm trying to get posts written up on all the liquid lipsticks I own so you can see which are my faves and the best formulas etc. I have a few so this could take a while. Last week I was talking about
Huda Beauty Liquid Matte. Todays offerings are the
Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks, specifically the collaboration they did with Manny MUA. These were supposed to be limited edition but there was so much demand they are now permanent shades.
These are more of a mousse texture than a liquid but this means they feel so much creamier on application. They apply like a dream and are opaque in one swipe. They are honestly so comfortable to wear. I forget I'm actually wearing a lip product and they don't really feel drying until about maybe the 3ish hour mark. Even then they only feel a tad dry and not uncomfortable at all. Hypno does wear a bit uneven, coming away from the centre a tad patchy but it reapplies okay. The lighter colours wear way more even.
Hypno - Deeper, burgundy shade
Hands down my favourite out of the collection. As you may know I adore a dark vampy lip. I always forget about this one and then when I remember it I fall in love all over again. It's just such a gorgeous shade perfect for my dark soul.
Charmed - Rosy, mauve toned nude
Such a perfect pinky nude. I'm a huge fan of mauve lipsticks (as mentioned in my
Too Faced Melted Matte post). This one is more on the dusty pink side and is just slightly darker than my natural lip colour.
Aries - Stunning, lighter, peachy-nude
I'm really not sure about this colour. I really like it but I feel like its too light for my skin tone. Weirdly I feel more self conscious in this nude than I do in a dark colour.
As you can tell by the worn off writing Hypno is definitely my fave and most worn. Charmed gets more wear in the summer months but I adore them both. If you don't like liquid lipsticks that are overly dry I definitely recommend these.
I ordered mine from the ofra site when they first came out as a limited edition set. You can now get them for $19.90 which works out about £16. I can't remember how much postage was but I don't think it was too bad and I didn't get a customs charge.
