January has been a bit of a hectic month with not much makeup wearing happening so there's only one makeup product in my faves this month and only 6 products in total. So here's what I was loving
With being ill and the fact that it is still Winter (when will it end?) my lips are beyond dry. They are cracking and sore and this is the only thing stopping them from falling off my face. I slather this on whenever I can to get some much needed moisture back.
Nouveau Strip Lashes // Volume 2*
I was recently chosen to become a member of the Nouveau #LashGang and I have never been so happy. They are such a lovely company. I have never really been a massive wearer of false lashes because I always thought they were difficult to apply. However, these were so easy to apply and they look incredible. I want to wear them every single day. They are gorgeous and super comfortable. I wore them for about 15 hours and they didn't budge and I barely noticed they were there. I am a massive falsies convert. You need to go pick yourself some of these.
Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner
Oh my god this eyeliner. I don't think I have ever loved an eyeliner as much as this one. I'm not sure how well it would work for oily eyelids because I noticed some transfer the other day when I hadn't set my eyes properly. However, I wore this for my basketball tournament the other weekend and it stayed put throughout 3 very hot games. I then also wore this the other night when I first got ill. I was crying in pain & then went to bed without taking my makeup off. I woke up in the morning and my wings were still perfect. I had mascara down my face but my wings were still on point. MAGIC.
I am obsessed with this shower gel. It smells incredible and it leaves my bathroom smelling nice and fruity for the rest of the day and night. I love going into my bathroom after I've used this. I can't get over how good it smells.
Lottie London Soap Star Brush Cleanser
So I finally cleaned all the brushes I've been avoiding using because they were so gross and this magical pot has left them all sparkling clean and super soft. They all feel brand new again. I don't know why I put it off so much because its so easy with this. Just swill a wet brush around in the soap and rinse. Ta-da all clean. (Full review here)
The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream
As with my lips, my face is also super dry. I love how when you're ill everything else goes to shit just to put the icing on the cake. I've been chucking this on every night and it's been a massive help. I'm still not a massive fan of the smell as mentioned in my Body Shop Skincare post but it is definitely adding the moisture I need.
Here's hoping February will be a less ill month. I don't think my ribs can cope with much more coughing.
