This post is definitely a lot later than planned but my back has been pretty angry so I haven't been able to take any photos. It's been written for ages. I finally got some today so here are my beauty favourites from July. I didn't really wear much makeup but when I did I have been loving either a nude or super bright red lip. Y'know two pretty similar shades haha. Also my Non-beauty faves went live last week so be sure to check them out.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
I think I might finally be getting to grips with my skincare (she says for the ten billionth time). I got this in a You Beauty Box and I am really liking it. My skin is pretty sensitive and beyond dry so this is perfect. A little bit goes a long way and it's so easy to wash off. You can even do it with just a cotton pad but I tend to use water. My breakouts have definitely gone down since using this and cutting down on dairy. I will definitely be repurchasing when it runs out. I love it.
Dose of Colours Kiss of Fire
Since going back blonde I am now fully obsessed with red lips. Don't get me wrong I wasn't afraid to clash with my pink hair I just never really reached for my trusty reds. I forgot how much I adore the formula of Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks but oh my god I love them. They are long lasting, not particularly drying and the colour payoff is just incredible. Kiss of Fire is practically a neon pinky red and I loove it. Also DOC are back on Beauty Bay and it is taking all my will power not to but them all. If you love a bright statement lip you need this lipstick in your life.
Colourpop Lippie Stix in Lumiere
I couldn't find this on the website but I am loving this on a more laid back makeup day. It's such a gorgeous nude and is perfect when I don't want a drying matte lip. This one feels so moisturising and still sticks around.
Burt's Bees Lip Balm
I won this in Emmy's amazing giveaway and I love it. I apply this so many times in a day. It smells so good and leaves my poor dry lips feeling human.
I am probably the most impatient and messiest person when it comes to painting my nails. I am always smudging them 5mins after finishing them. This stuff is a life saver. It speeds up drying time and adds shine. I mean my nails still always look like they've been painted by a child but this definitely helps. Plus it's less than £3. Bargain
I also got this in the giveaway I won and it is so handy. My hair is pretty thick so it is forever tangled and this definitely makes it less painful. I tend to use it after showering and it makes life so much easier. I just wish the handle was a lil bit longer as I get cramp trying to grip it with my crappy hands.
What beauty things are you loving at the moment?
Beth...x
