I cancelled my Vegan Tuck box subscription a couple of months ago because I was trying to cut down on my spending. A couple of weeks ago I saw a discount code on twitter so I thought I'd treat myself. There is nothing better than a box of food being delivered to your door every month. Here's what was inside the box of goodies this month.
Wild Trail Cacao Fruit & Nut Bar - These bars are perfect for on the go. I always have something like this with me especially for basketball training because I get super hungry. The amount of times I have to have a snack break whilst everyone else is having a water break hahah. Forever hungry.
Solo Chocolate Salted Caramel Meal Replacement - I'm not a massive fan of meal replacement shakes and I hate them being advertised for weight loss. I would much rather eat a healthy balanced meal. That being said I am a raging bitch if I don't get breakfast but some mornings I don't have time so this might be helpful. I'd prefer a bowl of porridge though.
Vitl Multivitamin & Omega 3 - Again I'm not a massive fan of supplements from websites I'm not a 100% on. I also don't tend to take any vitamins as I already have to take enough tablets. This might be a good way to get all your vitamins though.
Bean and Pod Dark Chocolate Caramel Moments - Oh my god these are so good. One of the first things I opened when I dug into the box. The dark chocolate outside is complemented so beautifully by the sweet caramel centre. In love.
Olive Branch Orange Biskotakia - Okay these were the first things I opened because they just looked so delicious. The texture is a bit different to what I expected as they feel a bit powdery but they taste so damn good. You can definitely taste the orange. They also do some cinnamon ones which I need in my life...like now.
Chocolatey Clare Lemon Crunch Bar - I'm not 100% sure on this one as the lemon tastes a bit chemically and I find the chocolate a bit too bitter. I would be interested to try some of the other flavours like the strawberry and raspberry. If lemon chocolate is your thing though this is a beautifully packaged bar and you get a decent amount of chocolate.
Foods of Athenry Caramel Rocky Road Bar - I haven't tried this yet but it sounds so good. You can't beat some old fashioned rocky road. This will be great for keeping in my bag for when the hangry bitch returns.
JOM Wild Raspberry Snack Pack - So I just went to try one of these whilst writing up this post and now the whole bag is gone and I'm devastated. These are so damn delicious and I need some more asap. They're chewy and fruity and I just need a billion packets. Seriously, if fruity, chewy sweets are your thing then you need to try these and send me some.
Quibbles Jalapeno Chilli and Kaffir Lime Peanuts - Now these definitely have a kick but oh my god are they good. As I am super white these left my mouth burning but I am in love with the flavour. The different flavours all work so well together.
Granovita Herb Pate - I can't find this exact flavour but The Vegan Kind & Holland & Barrett have similar. I'm not normally a pate eater but I thought I'd give this a go. It looks a lot like cat food but it tastes amazing. I've already found a few other flavours that I want to try for all the Christmas platters. I seriously can't recommend this enough.
Valentina Mediterranean Toast with Tomato & Garlic - These are hands down my favourite out of everything I got in this box. I only have about 4 of the lil toasts left. I tried one whilst I was taking photos and it was nearly impossible to stop. I inhaled most of them for lunch today. They go perfectly with the pate but they also taste amazing with my all time favourite dairy free garlic & herb spread from sainsburys. I can't seem to find anywhere to buy these so if anyone ever sees them let me know. Also you need the garlic & herb spread in your life. It is a billion times better than philadelphia. I currently have 4 tubs in my fridge because I don't live near a Sainsbury's so I bulk buy it.
