Moonlight Melts is run by the super lovely Jo. All her melts are handmade from Soy wax and are vegan-friendly. They also all happen to look super cute and smell absolutely incredible. You can tell that Jo puts so much effort into making the perfect scents. Even ones I thought I wouldn't like still smell amazing.
One melt makes my house smell delicious and the smell lingers for hours. They are the perfect size as I don't get bored of them before they run out. You know how some melts are just way to big and you have to faff about cutting them. They are also perfect for mixing so you can create your own blends.
My melts came in a box that fit through my letterbox which is super handy. The melts then come wrapped and labelled with a scent description which is a lifesaver because I am terrible at identifying and describing scents.
Moonlight Melts are also super affordable. Prices vary but tend to be around £1.85 for 4 melts. Seriously, how amazing is that? Such a bargain and the quality does not suffer for such a great price. I think these are probably my absolute favourite melts out of any other brand I have tried.
Honestly, these scents all smell incredible.
Pumpkin Spice Latte Cinnamon, brown sugar and freshly whipped cream - I think this is my favourite out of them all. You just can't beat a pumpkin spiced latte in autumn. This smells sweet and spicy and oh so delicious. It makes me want to be all wrapped up with a PSL in hand. When these are back in stock I am definitely getting some more
Autumn Woods Rose & Muguet mixed with notes of pine, cedarwood, patchouli & eucalyptus - It blows my mind that this actually smells like taking a stroll through the woods on a crisp Autumn morning. It's definitely one to check out if you like more "masculine" woody scents
Frosted Candy Apple Succulent top notes of red apply & delightfully sweet peach laced with creamy swirls or caramel - This makes me want an apple crumble so bad. It smells so appley. It's quite a sweet scent but it's not sickly and just smells edible.
Dragon's Belly The warm scent of a dragon's belly as he feasts on vanilla, caramel and powder pink princesses - I love the story behind this scent and it's sweet but with a delicious heat behind it.
Pumpkin & Marshmallow A sweetly comforting blend of vanilla, pumpkin & marshmallow - If you aren't a fan of the spice part of a PSL then you need this one in your life. The pumpkin works so well with the sweetness of the vanilla & marshmallow.
Black Magic Sandalwood, ylang-ylang & patchouli on a background of baby powder and vanilla - Black magic is so fresh and soothing. I absolutely adore the baby powder scent that comes through. I honestly can't describe how amazing this smells. I also adore the colour mixed with the glitter (pictured above)
Loch Ness Monster Single malt whiskey & thistles with a sweet, spicy undertone - I wasn't sure about this one but it actually doesn't smell too bad. You definitely get the hit of whiskey and the smell kinda reminds me of my grandpa. I'm not sure if I would be a major fan of it burning but if you aren't a fan of sweet or fruity scents then this one is definitely worth a try.
Bite Me Citrusy notes of lime & tangy orange with a tease of cherries and a bite of leafy greens - The citrusy notes of Bite me make this a super fruity yet fresh scent. If you are a fan of a scent that packs a fruity punch then I highly recommend this one.
I will definitely be making another order very soon. There are so many other scents that I want to try and I need more Pumpkin Spiced Latte and Black Magic in my life asap. These would make the perfect gift and if you are already thinking about Christmas then they are the absolute perfect stocking filler. Everyone in my life will probably be getting some.
What are your go-to candle scents?
