Urban Skin Detox Peel Off Face Mask - I have been loving face masks recently. I just can't stop doing them. They just feel so indulgent and who doesn't love a pamper. I also adore peel-off masks. They're so satisfying to peel off (when they don't rip off your face). This one is gentle enough that it doesn't pull at the skin. Also thanks to PCOS I am part werewolf and have an extremely hairy face and it doesn't tug at the hair at all and is a pain-free, satisfying removal process. The mask intensively cleans and removes dirt from your pores which I always need. It also reduces excess sebum and oil so is great for oily skin but it also leaves my drier skin feeling glowy.
Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream* - As my skin is so dry I didn't think this day cream would be enough for my poor face, as it's for normal combination skin, but I've actually been really loving it. I've been using this as my day cream for the last 2 months and my skin feels really good. The vitamin E and antioxidants refresh the skin whilst providing intensive moisture. It also has an SPF of 15 although I wear a body shop SPF 30 as well. I'm nearly out of this now and I think I'll get the rich one for dry and sensitive skin to see how it compares.
Mango Shine Lip Balm* - As I am forever wearing super matte liquid lipsticks my lips are always in need of some moisture. I have lip balms everywhere and am forever applying them. You can never have too many. This delicious mango beauty is on my desk at the moment and I cannot stop applying it. It just smells so damn good and leaves my lips feeling amazing. It is made with natural oils to create a melt in formula which adds a shine to the lips with a subtle gold shimmer. I am so tempted to order the watermelon and cherry ones because that would be a collection of my 3 absolute favourite scents and flavours.
Shower Clay with Ginger & Basil* - I'm normally a fruity shower gel kind of girl but I've been enjoying using this a lot. The ginger and basil scent is just so refreshing. It deeply cleanses the skin without drying it out which is exactly what I need. The Kaolin clay formula manages to balance deep cleansing with freshness and care and leaves my skin feeling super soft and nourished.
Body Mousse Moisturiser in Cucumber & Matcha Tea* - My skin is forever dry thanks to the lovely side effects of a few of my meds. That means I can't go without a good moisturiser. I absolutely adore the body shop body yoghurt but I think this may have topped that. The 3 main things I look for in a moisturiser are 1. Obviously needs to moisturise my scaly skin 2. Smells good and 3. Needs to sink in quickly because I hate being slimy. This incredible mousse formula ticks all 3 boxes.
The airy mousse formula melts on the skin and sinks in beautifully. It's fast-absorbing and deeply moisturises leaving my skin feeling extremely smooth. All moisturisers claim to provide long-lasting moisture but oh my god this one really does. 24 hours later my legs still felt like I had just moisturised them. Most importantly of all, it doesn't leave me slimy in the slightest. Just smooth-skinned and super hydrated.
It also smells super fresh. Cucumber and matcha tea isn't a scent I would usually go for but it really works. I really need the Wild Raspberry & White Tea Scent in my life too because that sounds delicious. Another Nivea moisturiser I love is the Cherry Blossom and Jojoba oil lotion (Review here)
3-in-1 Urban Skin Detox Clay Wash* - I have mentioned before how much I love this clay wash. I love that even though it is a physical scrub it is still gentle enough for my temperamental skin. It thoroughly cleanses my skin without drying it out. The formula was created to effectively remove dirt, pollution and gently exfoliate. It really does leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and I love leaving it on for 5 mins as a mask whilst I make a cuppa for a deeper clean.
