I'm a big fan of Nivea's body care but I've recently fallen in love with some of their skincare too and thought I would share. All of these products are from their Naturally Good range which is a part of their long-term commitment to using less plastic and more sustainably sourced ingredients and recycled/recyclable materials.
If you've been waiting on a review of the cleanser bar from me, sorry it took me so long but I really wanted to put it through its paces and I'm pleased to say it passed with flying colours. Read on for a full review.
And in case you didn't know Nivea now have a store on their website meaning you can buy all of their products in one place.

MagicBar Refreshing Face Cleansing Bar* (Nivea - Boots) - £5.99
With everyone trying to reduce their plastic use there has been a rise in cleansing bars. There are 3 different Nivea bars and they are pretty affordable and can be picked up in stores. I was a bit wary about how a bar of soap would work with my dry skin but this beauty is amazing. You lather up the bar with wet hands and then massage onto your face and my skin feels so good afterward. This cleanser not only doesn't dry out my face but it leaves my skin (and hands) feeling nourished and hydrated. I now use this as my morning cleanser AND as my second cleanse at night. It also removes makeup really well and doesn't sting or irritate my eyes, I just prefer to use an oil. Highly recommend.
It's plastic-free with fully recyclable paper packaging, 99% natural origin vegan formula and pH optimised.
Radiance Day Cream* (Nivea - Boots) - £5.99 & Regenerating Night Cream* - (Nivea - Boots) - £5.99
Cotton Flower & Bio Essential Oil Shower Gel* (Nivea - Boots) - £3.99
I normally buy whatever shower gel is on offer in home bargains but I have to say I have majorly fallen in love with Nivea's shower gels. Their Apricot, Mango & Rice Milk Shower Gel Cream is my all time favourite. It smells like a smoothie. This one isn't normally a scent I would pick but it smells delicious. It's so fresh. Not only does it smell incredible but it also leaves my skin hydrated. The bottle is also made with 97% recycled PET plastic.
Naturally Good Hemp Seed Oil Calming Body Lotion* (Nivea - Boots) - £7.99
As I'm sure you will have gathered from the rest of this post, I have super dry skin. The main thing I look for in a product is whether it is hydrating. This body lotion is for dry sensitive skin but I have to say it isn't my favourite. I prefer the Body Soufflé Coconut & Monoi Oil or the Oil In Lotion Coconut & Monoi Oil. I found this one doesn't really sink in. It just slides around on top of the skin and you have to really work it to get it to rub in. I'm also not the target audience for this one because I love a scented body lotion.
I do love the bottle though. It contains 50% less plastic and is squishy so you can roll it up to squeeze out every last drop. It's also vegan and contains no parabens, silicones, chemical preservatives, and micro plastics.
